For
Krolczyk Cellars owner and winemaker Dan Krolczyk,
nothing is more engaging than producing wine. After
a few years as winemaker and assistant brewer at Kuhnhenn's
in Warren, Michigan, Dan moved up north, to work for
L Mawby, and become more involved in the wine industry
before pursuing his own label.
There, he met Joni Smoker. The two launched Krolczyk
Cellars in 2005 with their first release, a dry white
table wine known as Rainy Days. On the label, it encourages
the imbiber to not only drink the wine but to drink
in life.
That spirit of fun, of passion, and of love for craftsmanship is something Dan and Joni bring to all their work -- work they hope you'll enjoy drinking as much as they enjoy producing.
Krolczyk Cellars is located in Freesoil, Michigan,
between Ludington and Manistee. For more information and directions, visit the contact page.
